Kenya Strong - Coyotes
Kenya is a full-time Waldorf grades teacher. She holds a Masters degree in education, a bachelors degree in psychology, an associates degree in computer electronics technology and is currently working on completing the California teaching credential. Before moving to California she spent 10 years as an educator in high risk populations. Her experience has taught her that keeping children close to nature is the best education.
Besides spending time snuggling with her children, her interests include hiking, yoga, meditation, music, clean eating and honest living. She enjoys working with her hands, especially to create something beautiful.
Kenya lives on a self-sufficient homestead in the Santa Susanna Mountains, just outside of Los Angeles with husband Andreas Geck and their family. They have been featured on the “Ricky Lake Show” as the “Urban Green Family”, demonstrating possibilities for a lifestyle connected to nature and maximizing options to live responsibly in our techno-infused world.
